@streakmachine I suggested one of my EFL students start a blog to practice English writing, but she nevertheless refused after trying a bit, saying no one her age would visit and read a blog today. Instead, she is very keen on updating statuses in the WeChat Moments (a Twitter-like social platform, in Chinese of course) just because of her audience there.
