@matigo what a pity. Imagine sashimi coming with gravy instead of wasabi and shoyu…

@matigo that’s what an antique watch is like. Modern models all have their charging cords attached 24/7. Hope this has broadened your mind. ??
My Apple Watch has looked like this ever since this early morning without me knowing. What a lovely screen freeze. Everyone else would be thinking I’m wearing a fake watch. ?
@matigo puppies always make me feel happy! Btw how should I embed a video player here?
? Happy 5th birthday, my little cutie pie! ???

@matigo you guys’ ideas are really brilliant. As an Asian guy whose quasi-mother-tongue is English, I started to teach EFL students when I was very young, sometimes even younger than my students. (I majored in linguistics to gain the edge in teaching.) Back then I didn’t feel uncomfortable with students partly because our age difference wasn’t considerable. That is, we had a lot in common, which facilitated teaching and learning processes and required fewer pedagogic efforts. As I grew older yet the age ranges of my students didn’t change, the generation gap became increasingly noticeable, hence my ongoing qualms about my job performance and the weakened sense of achievement. More often than not, students’ parents are headaches, too. Now I guess I’d be more comfortable dealing with objects rather than people. I know there’s a lot to map out before taking the initiative, though…

@larand your experience really peps me up. Very reassuring. Thank you, Larry. I‘m more and more inclined to believe that I’m not good at dealing with people, while my current job necessitates contacts with human beings, many of whom I don’t feel like cultivating… So I’m thinking of altering my career path radically in the future.
Is it too late for a 35yo male to hop to a totally different professional domain and start from scratch?
